Hello:

It is a pleasure to introduce myself as Jerry Mundil, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1970-1974 during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of 3CABH3C. I am here to discuss the Colfax County Veterans Memorial project that we are planning to construct in Schuyler, NE. This has been a dream of mine for many years.

Frank Blazek, a lifetime member of the Schuyler VFW stated that Schuyler should have a memorial for Veterans. He passed away a few years ago thus unable to see his & wife Marilyn’s dream of a memorial being fulfilled. Several of their family members are veterans who fought in various conflicts. Following much conversation, I gathered a group of former military personnel and formed a committee to try and make our dreams a reality.

I would like to challenge this community to reach into your pockets and support our noble cause by donating, if possible, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Keep an eye out for transformations soon at the site located across from the Oak Ballroom.

We anticipate a cost of $500,000 for the Memorials construction, with an estimated completion date of 2027.

Our service caches video list data directly from YouTube for all visitors and does not access your YouTube account to personalize or change the videos displayed.
