Channel 10/11’s Grace McDonald was in town to do a segment for Pure Nebraska which aired on Veterans Day, 11/11/25.

     Jerry & Rose Mundil’s monument was reset after being reconditioned.        October 31, 2025

PATRIOTS DAY, 9/11/2025

Recognition & Presentation at Schuyler Central High School

The Schuyler American Legion Color Guard team ceremoniously presented the American flag and colors, recognizing all veterans, active military, EMT’s, firemen, and law enforcement personnel, for their service and sacrifices.

The student council presented much appreciated checks from concession proceeds to the Veterans Memorial and the Firemen’s Fund preceding the varsity volleyball game.

World War I war panel by Dillon Krueger

Dillon Krueger is a father, husband, veteran, and artist based out of Columbus, NE. He does all types of artwork, including oil paintings, murals, and illustrations.  Dillon also has 2 children’s books available on Amazon titled “Why We Stand” and “Why We Pledge Allegiance”. Shown above is Dillon with another happy customer purchasing his most recent black & white Bald Eagle oil painting.
